Wellspring Foundation for Education has been hosting a two days training of Parent Teachers committees (PTCs) from the 27th to 28th August, 2013. The aim of the training was to identify the role of the parent in positive behaviour management. The training covered key practical concepts such as value based behaviour learning, head/knowing, heart/knowing, heart/feeling, and hands/actions. The training aimed at fostering the ability to manage children’s behaviour based on value based strategies. A total number of 144 participants from the 48 schools PTCs attended the training. During this workshop parents discussed best ways of following up and monitoring their children’s conduct.
